Check Out My Aura!

I couldn't resist, y'all! I've been sucked in by the awesomeness that is Tyr Rozenblum's new collection of Boho Ruffle tops and Class Act jeans. She released some great checkered tops for Stumblebum, but has come out with more color and design options and I couldn't be more thrilled! You've probably seen these jeans all over the grid in her Ornate design, but she's just released this Patch design for Culture Shock. These are my favorites! You can get all the new tops and Patch jeans at Culture Shock, but the Ornate design is available only at FaMESHed, so get yours ASAP!

Also, this picture was taken in the courtyard of a new blues club that my friend Chariclo Dezno will be opening up in the near future. I'm so excited for everyone to see it! Char and her partner Batty are two of my closest friends and some of the funniest people I know. Every moment spent with them is usually full of gut bursting laughter so I can't wait to see what is to come with their new blues club. I'll keep you posted!

Junkyard Freak

Friday night is Beautiful Freaks night at E & S Burlesque so I had to go freak shopping! After some great suggestions from friends on plurk, I found this groovy Junkyard Queen outfit from a store called the Rotten Toe. How crazy is that store name??? I love it! So here's the outfit in all it's glory.

Yes, I'm standing on a stove looking at you all badass and shit.  Come at me motha fucka! Try to knock me off my stove! Hahaha... In truth, if you gave me a slight shove, I'd fall off on my butt and cry like a baby.  But half the fun of SL is pretending, right?

My eye makeup is all black and dark thanks to cheLLe's Fierce Black Swan eyeshadow and the lipstick is Noir from the Elly Chai skin pack by Pink Fuel. The boots are Triumph from Gos, of course. I had my eye on them for a while and finally just coughed up the dough and bought them and I'm glad I did. They go great with any badass outfit! And the hair is called Somewhere and is new from Magika, my new favorite hair store! Another one I didn't think I'd use but have had a blast with.

Pretty in Pink

Yeah, the title's a bit cliche, but I couldn't resist! Just like I couldn't resist this adorable pink hair from Magika! Now, I admit to being a little slow on the uptake sometimes and just discovered this store. And I am now smitten. I love that you can get ALL THE COLORS for just 500L! And I love that they are controlled by just two little huds! And I love that this hair is just packed full of meshy goodness! Let's admire the hair, shall we?

*sigh* So pretty... But there is MORE PRETTY!

These glorious mesh feet from SLink are my other new addiction. I rarely wear shoes on SL anymore, which actually mirrors RL. The cute top is part of a swimsuit set from League that I was coveting on another woman on the beach the other day. I have learned to ASK where people got stuff when I see them around SL now. Most of us girls are happy to share a great find and it leads to fun, fashionista conversations.

Finally I wanna talk about two of my other favorite things in this outfit. The first is the GORGEOUS cherry blossom tattoo from my new favorite tattoo shop, Tenjin. I love the subtle femininity of it.  The second is my Cynful "Eve Britches" Jeans. We were talking in plurk the other day about whether or not to show butt cleavage with your jeans and I admitted, I love to show off the butt cleavage! But I like it to be kinda subtle. I don't want them hanging BELOW my ass, but these Eve jeans from Cynful show off just the perfect amount, IMHO. These are my "go-to" jeans and I have them in every color.

If Walls Could Talk

I have always been a quote junkie. I have a book I call my "Purple Book" full of quotes I've jotted down in the past. I'm also an aspiring graphic designer, so I collect fonts like a dog collects bones. So, I decided to combine my two loves and came up with my new little SL business... If Walls Could Talk.

This is one of the first ones Jett and I made. He gets a lot of the credit here because, although it was my idea, he helped me a lot with the execution of it. This is one of my favorite quotes. It shows us that Shakespeare was a little bit dirty... which makes me love him even more. 

One of my favorite things about these is that they are change colors. You can make them match any decor, it doesn't have to be just black or white. You can bring out the colors in a piece of furniture, like the one below. 

My great friend J1llian (who makes awesome clothes on J1Designs) displayed her wall quote (wall decal? I still don't know what to call these!) on her fireplace.

Up, Up and AWAY!

I blogged the other day about discovering Sassy and promised to blog another dress from them... well here it is! I had SO much fun creating this kind of Lightning Girl/Alien Girl look that I had to ask Jett to take me to outer space... and he did!  He knew of this really cool sim called Kapela that has a rocket ship that takes you to Mars!

3...2...1... BLASTOFF!

The rocket takes you up into space and you fly for a while til you land on Mars!

There are groovy buildings to explore and even the insides of an alien. Jett thought the alien innards were cool. I was just trying not to puke. There's also a Disco in Space that has you dancing with aliens. That cracked me up!

Here's me in Mission Control (I'm assuming). Don't you wanna just push all the buttons and say stuff like, "I'm giving her all I've got, Cap'n!"

I had so much fun making this outfit!  I have two different colors of white Truth Luana hair on, and when I move, they have this groovy lightning effect. All the rest is in the Credits below, but the biggest credit needs to go to Jett Roxan for the amazing pictures. He is full of awesomeness, y'all!

Just wanted to join in the NSFW fun and was inspired by a picture I found on the internet to create this... 

I love my prim nipples and look for a chance to bring them out whenever I can. They are from Nearly Tactile and are tintable to match your skin. The necklaces are mesh from the talented Maxi Gossamer. I moved them around and resized them like crazy to model the photo below.

The Fountain of Youth (and Shoes)

More Whore Couture Fair goodies! I admit... I embrace my inner whore. I know that word has a bad rap, but I kinda like it. I'm not saying I'm on the hunt for a pimp, but... I just think we all have a little whore hidden in us somewhere, so might as well let her come out and play every now and then!

The adorably sexy outfit I have on below is from Cracked Mirror. I just love the softness of the top and the little hint of satin. I'm also a sucker for miniskirts and this one matched perfectly and shows off a little peek of ass cleavage. The hair is Bring it on!, one of Exile's new mesh releases and I'm in LOVE! Also check out the   Strands necklace from Caroline's Jewelry. I got it at Shopping Cart Disco, which ended on Sunday, but they are available on the Marketplace and will soon be available in her store.

This picture was taken on the N-Core sim. I saw the little birds and was drawn to the waterfall. Such a relaxing place. Since I took the picture here, I had to show you the sparkly, silver N-Core heels I got for this outfit. N-Core has such a great mix of shoes, from the detailed strappy sandals with pretty prim toesies, to these simple, elegant pumps. Sometimes, you just need a little simple glitteryness to finish off an outfit. Well done, N-Core.
